Product Details

  • Product Description
  • Product Introduction

Digital input and relay‑output safety barrier: It isolates and outputs signals from dry contacts or NAMUR‑type proximity switches in the hazardous area to the safe area via isolated relay contacts. The dip switch allows you to configure the output and input for either non‑inverting or inverting logic (default is non‑inverting), enable or disable line‑fault monitoring (default is enabled, with LED blinking during a line fault), and select the function of the second output channel (either as a transistor output or as a fault‑alarm output). This product requires an independent power supply and features three‑terminal isolation between input, output, and power.

    Technical Specifications

    • Power Supply: 18 VDC to 32 VDC, with reverse polarity protection.
    • Operating power consumption: ≤1W
    • Input signal: dry contact or NAMUR-type proximity switch
    • Switching characteristics: When the input current exceeds 2.1 mA, the output relay closes and the channel indicator light remains steadily illuminated in yellow; when the input current falls below 1.2 mA, the output relay opens and the channel indicator light turns off.
    • Open-circuit voltage: approximately 8.5 V
    • Short-circuit current: approximately 8.5 mA
    • Output signal: Transistor collector output (custom logic-level output available upon request) Drive current: ≤40 mA
    • External voltage: <40 VDC
    • Line fault: If the input current is ≤50 μA, a broken‑wire condition is detected and the output relay trips; if the input current is ≥6.5 mA, a short circuit is detected and the output relay trips, with the channel indicator flashing red.
    • Switching frequency: <5 kHz
    • Electromagnetic Compatibility: IEC 61326-3-1
    • Dielectric strength: ≥2500 VAC (between intrinsically safe side and non‑intrinsically safe side); ≥1500 VAC (between power supply and non‑intrinsically safe side)
    • Insulation resistance: ≥100 MΩ (input/output/power supply)
    • Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
    • Storage temperature: -40°C to +80°C
    • Dimensions: Width 12.7 mm × Height 110 mm × Depth 118.9 mm
    • Application: Installed in a safe area, it can be connected to intrinsically safe equipment in Zones 0, 1, and 2; for gas groups IIA, IIB, and IIC; and for temperature classes T1 through T6.
