    The digital communication input safety barrier isolates and converts RS‑422 digital signals from the hazardous area into RS‑485 digital signals, which are then transmitted to the safe area for bidirectional communication. At the same time, it supplies an intrinsically safe, isolated power supply to field instruments in the hazardous area. This product requires an independent power supply and features three‑terminal isolation between its input, output, and power sections.
