Product Introduction
Digital input and relay‑output safety barrier: It isolates and outputs signals from dry contacts or NAMUR‑type proximity switches in the hazardous area to the safe area via isolated relay contacts. DIP switches S1 and S3 allow you to configure CH1 and CH2 for either inverting or non‑inverting logic control (default is non‑inverting), while DIP switches S2 and S4 enable or disable line‑fault monitoring for CH1 and CH2 (default is enabled; the LED flashes in the event of a line fault). This product requires an independent power supply and features three‑terminal isolation between input, output, and power.
Technical Specifications
- Power Supply: 18 VDC to 32 VDC, with reverse polarity protection.
- Operating power consumption: ≤1W
- Input signal: dry contact or NAMUR-type proximity switch
- Switching characteristics: When the input current exceeds 2.1 mA, the output relay closes and the channel indicator light remains steadily illuminated in yellow; when the input current falls below 1.2 mA, the output relay opens and the channel indicator light turns off.
- Open-circuit voltage: approximately 8.5 V
- Short-circuit current: approximately 8.5 mA
- Output signal: Transistor collector output (custom logic-level output available upon request) Drive current: ≤40 mA
- External voltage: <40 VDC
- Line fault: If the input current is ≤50 μA, the system detects an open‑circuit condition and deactivates the output relay; if the input current is ≥6.5 mA, the system detects a short circuit, deactivates the output relay, and causes the channel indicator light to flash red.
- Switching frequency: <5 kHz
- Electromagnetic Compatibility: IEC 61326-3-1
- Dielectric strength: ≥2500 VAC (between intrinsically safe side and non‑intrinsically safe side); ≥1500 VAC (between power supply and non‑intrinsically safe side)
- Insulation resistance: ≥100 MΩ (input/output/power supply)
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
- Storage temperature: -40°C to +80°C
- Dimensions: Width 12.7 mm × Height 110 mm × Depth 118.9 mm
- Application: Installed in a safe area, it can be connected to intrinsically safe equipment in hazardous zones 0, 1, and 2; IIA, IIB, and IIC; T1 through T6.
