Product Details

  • Product Description
  • Product Introduction

The frequency‑input safety barrier isolates and converts frequency pulse signals from the hazardous area into current‑signal outputs for transmission to the safe area. This product requires an independent power supply, with three‑terminal isolation between input, output, and power. It features built-in online fault self‑diagnosis and allows configuration—via a PC or a handheld programmer—of the measurement range for frequency pulse signals and the output mode in case of signal failure.

    Technical Specifications

    • Power Supply: 18 VDC to 32 VDC with reverse polarity protection
    • Operating power consumption: 0.8 W (24 V, single-channel full-load output); 1.3 W (24 V, dual-channel full-load output)
    • Input signal: frequency pulse signal (when placing an order, the measurement range must be specified)
    • Frequency range: 0.1 Hz to 100 kHz
    • Pulse width: >5 μs
    • Input impedance: ≥10 kΩ
    • Signal Trigger: Low Level: 0 V to 2 V, High Level: 4 V to 30 V
    • Distribution voltage: 24 V DC; at 20 mA, the output voltage is ≥ 16 V.
    • Output signal: 4–20 mA
    • Allowable load: RL ≤ 550 Ω
    • Conversion accuracy: 0.1% F.S. (25°C ± 2°C)
    • Temperature Drift: 40 ppm/°C
    • Response time: ≤500 ms
    • Electromagnetic Compatibility: IEC 61326-3-1
    • Dielectric strength: ≥2500 VAC (between intrinsically safe side and non‑intrinsically safe side); ≥1500 VAC (between power supply and non‑intrinsically safe side)
    • Insulation resistance: ≥100 MΩ (input/output/power supply)
    • Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
    • Storage temperature: -40°C to +80°C
    • Dimensions: 12.7 mm wide × 110 mm high × 118.9 mm deep
    • Fault status: Input open circuit—LED flashes; input overrange—LED remains steadily lit. When the input is open or exceeds the measurement range, the output current can be set within the 0–22 mA range (default: follows the input).
    • Application: Installed in hazardous areas, it can be connected to intrinsically safe equipment in Zones 0, 1, and 2; for gas groups IIA, IIB, and IIC; and for temperature classes T1 through T6.
